On 7/24/07 – Engine 422 responded along with Truck 42 to a Haz-Mat incident involving one patient. E422 arrived on scene, found a single patient with inhalation and chemical burns from at the time an unknown substance. The patient & family did report that it was a pool chemical. The incident was upgraded to a haz-mat box. The patient was flown to Washington Hospital Center via Eagle 3. Remaining units cleared 1.5 hrs.
