On Saturday; 4/25/09 at 1536 hrs. – Truck 42 & Medic 42 responded along with E91 and A419 from Station 42 to a MVC with entrapment near the intersection of Route 2 & Ark Road in the 9-22 box. EMS3 and PM9 arrived first on scene and found two vehicles, with two patients trapped and one overturned. Tk42 arrived on scene with E91 and took one vehicle and Sq2 and E411 worked on the second vehicle. Both patients were extricated and transported from the scene via MSP Trooper 1 & 2 to Baltimore Shock Trauma. Units from Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties were on scene. On Friday; 3/13/09 at 21:58 hrs. Station 42 was alerted for an MVC with one trapped. Engine 422 and Medic 42 responded to Deale Churchton Rd at Franklin Manor Rd with a pickup truck off the roadway. Crews when to work getting the patient out of the truck by cutting and removing the roof. Total extrication took less than 8 mins. On Sunday; 3/08/09 at 17:19 hrs Station 42 was alerted for and dwelling fire in the 600-Blk of Rosewood Ct in Company 9’s Area (Harwood/Lothian). Engine 91 arrived on location with heavy fire showing from the A, C and D sides of the house. Engine 422 and Calvert Squad 5 arrived shortly after. Crews from Csq 5, E422 and E91 moved lines quickly into the house, knocking down the majority of the fire. Engine 421 also responded on the fire but while en-route was removed to responded on a first due chimney fire on Drum Point Rd. On Tuesday; 03/03/09 at 20:33 hrs. Truck 42 was alerted for a Chimney fire in the 800-Blk of Hillside Ave in Company 2’s area (Woodland Beach). Medic Engine 2 arrived on location with a small fire at the back of the house. Squad 1 and Truck 42’s crew removed the wall around the wood stove and checked for extension. On Sunday; 02/08/09 at 1446 hrs. Station 42 was alerted for a Brush fire in the 300-Blk of Sansbury Rd. Engine 91 was added and responded from the fuel site on Friendship Rd. Engine 422 and Brush 42 were responding to Sansbury Rd when Engine 91 arrived on scene and requested a brush box. Engine 421 and Medic 42 was then also placed on the call. On Saturday; January 17, 2009 at 1542 hrs, Engine 411 was alerted for a large amount of smoke in the area of the 1400-Blk of Columbia Beach Rd. Fire Alarm advised that multiple calls were received. On Wednesday; 12/10/08 at 0056 hrs Station 42 was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 4300-Blk of Muddy Creek Rd in the 01-36 Box. Engine 12 arrived on scene in the 4400-Blk of Lansdale Road with a large farm house 100% involved. E422 and Tk42 responded on the first alarm. E422 ran water to fire as a Tanker while the crew remained on the fire scene. Brush 42 was dispatched on the call the keep the fire out of the wooded area near the dwelling. On Sunday; 12/07/08 Station 42 was alerted for two Chimney fires. One was in the 1400-Blk of Snug Harbor Rd at 1614 hrs and the other in the 1300-Blk of Holly St at 2137 hrs. Engine 422 and Truck 42 responded on both while Engine 421 remained in-service at the station. At approximately 2240 hrs Fire Alarm requested transfer crews due to the dwelling fire in the 08-21 box near 3300-Blk of Shore Dr. Tk42 transferred to Annapolis City Station 38 (Taylor Avenue) and E421 to Annapolis City Station 35 (Forest Drive). On Monday; 12/08/08 at 0043 hrs E421 was dispatched from Station 35 on the 4th Alarm of the Shore Dr fire. E422 was also dispatched cold to refresh crews on the scene.
