On Sunday Engine Company 42 was alerted for a brush fire in the area of Fairhaven Road. E421, E422 and Brush 42 responded from the station to find a large brush fire that was gaining in size due to wind conditions. Units on the scene were able to quickly place lines in service to stop any further extension.
