On Saturday, 9/08/2012 at 0804 hrs the station was alerted for a rescue box with report of one trapped.
The motor vehicle collision was in the area of East Bayfront Rd near the intersection of Rockhold Creek Rd. A head on collision was confirmed upon arrival, Medic 42 began triage and found one priority four patient and two trapped occupants in two separate vehicles. Truck 42 arrived, established command and began extrication efforts to free the trapped persons. Unfortunately, two of the victims were pronounced on the scene and the remaining victim was flown to a local trauma center.
