On January 30, 2014 at approximately 1942hrs, Medic 42 was dispatched to the area of Greenock Rd and Brookswoods Rd in Lothian for a report of a motor vehicle collision. MU42 arrived on scene and found 1 patient unconscious. Engine 425 was added to the call after being released from a 9-10 box chimney fire to assist on scene and handle the landing zone. Due to the extent of the injuries to the driver the Traffic Safety Section was requested to respond.
The driver was flown by Maryland State Police Medevac to a local Trauma Center in critical condition.
